STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURES (SOP) -Roles & Responsibilities
Board of Directors: PROVIDES GOVERNANCE TO CLUB-FINAL AUTHORITY.
Executive Members: Manage Day to Day Operations of Club.
Chairman/President/CEO: DR BINZIE ROY DAVIDSON
- Ensure an efficient and well-run Club is maintained.
- Lead the Club to meet its vision and direction established.
- Chair meetings of the Club and to coordinate all Club activities.
- Motivate others in a coordinated and progressive way.
- Represent the Club on formal occasions and to external bodies.
Vice President: MADAM ROSE LANAM RN BSN
- Past President/Board Member for over 15 Years.
- Under her Presidency Caribbean Cricket Club won the ODI and T20 Cricket Championship 2019-2020 A Serial Entrepreneur in Community Nursing and Rehabilitation Services for over 40 Years
- Assist to ensure an efficient and well-run club.
- Work in collaboration with the President to provide the Leadership for the club.
- Assist to Motivate Cricketers and Members in a coordinated and progressive manner.
Treasurer: MADAM USHA SAHADEVA-BROOKS
- Our Treasurer/Board Member Extraordinaire for over 15 Years.
- Retired from UCLA as a Finacial Analyst.
- A very strict member.
- Traveled the world with her mom and dad who are Diplomats of Sri Lanka.
- Monitor the finances of the Club, producing accounts and monitoring annual budgets.
- Maintain accurate and up to date financial records for the Club.
- Report the financial position to the Committee and prepare year-end financial reports for the AGM.
- Collect and deposit all fees, subscriptions, and funds, issuing receipts for all monies received.
- Ensure funds are spent appropriately and explore funding opportunities for the Club.

Club Secretary: DR SANDRA MINOTT PHD
- Dr. Minott is a graduate of the Prestigious Queens High School and the University of the West Indies, Jamaica.
- She completed her Doctorate in Human Services at Walden University.
- Dr. Minott is a very quiet, humble, and beautiful human being.
- She believes that service to humanity is imperative.
- Function as the first point of friendly contact for those looking to seek information about the Club.
- Deal with all Club membership and outgoing and incoming correspondence/communication.
- Keep all records accurate and up to date.
- Collect and deposit all fees, subscriptions, and funds, issuing receipts for all monies received.
- Consult with the Chairman to arrange meetings, prepare agendas and take minutes of Committee meetings.
Club Manager: HARRY BHULLAR
- New Director /Member of Caribbean Cricket Club.
- A very successful Businessman.
- Harry is dedicated to the development of Young Talented Cricketers and to the development of humanity.
- Function as a lead figure in the Club development, ensuring the Club grows in terms of stature, financially and personnel (players and volunteers), in line with the Club Development Plan.
- Ensure a Club Development Plan is produced, targets set within the plan are achieved and future targets are set annually.
- Motivate Cricketers and Club members to be initiative-taking in assisting with the development of the Club.
- Ensure the management and administration of the Club procedures and policies are regularly reviewed.
- Work with the Treasurer and Communications Officer to ensure the Club is marketed in the right way and opportunities for funding and sponsorship continually explored.
- Establish a culture of positive change and continuous improvement
Club Selector: MAURICE DONALD
- Past President/Board Member/ Past Captain of the Club/Manager now Selector.
- Have been a Long Standing Member for over 30 Years.
- He is very dedicated to the club and speaks from the heart.
- Maurice is a Retired from the Los Angeles Department of Water Power as a Senior Electrical Mechanic Supervisor. He is a Master Electrician Certified by the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
- He dedicated his entire life to his children and to helping humanity.
- Initiative-taking and Self Motivated.
- Work with the Cricket Captain to Select the Best Possible Team for the Club.
- Demonstrate good power of observation and performance of the team.
- Able to identify weaknesses in the team and help to solve problems before they become problematic.
- Build Loyalty between the Cricket Team and the Club.
- Provide Feedback to Cricket Captain.
Assistant Selector: ANTHONY WELLINGTON
- Member of Caribbean Cricket Club for over 30 Years.
- Selector extraordinaire for over 15 Years.
- Now Assistant Selector.
- Always Positive and upbeat.
- Joined the Board of Directors in 2023 as a Long standing Member of the Club.
- Assist the Club Selector as a Member of the Selecting Panel to ensure the Best Possible Team is selected to represent the Club.
- Assist with all Administrative Functions as a Selector deemed necessary.
Captain: CHRISTOPHER LANE
- Chis is a Businessman and Captain/Board Member of the Caribbean Cricket Club for over Ten Years.
- He is the most successful Captain of the club winning the ODI, T20 and all formats of the game 2019-2022.
- A very intelligent and astute individual.
- He is very dedicated to Caribbean Cricket Club.
- Match day organization of team.
- Provide on and off field leadership and expectations.
- Develop and implement game day tactics.
- Develop a winning culture within the spirit of the game and be responsible for team and individual behavior.
- Ensured the scorebook is accurately recorded at the end of each match and that copies of the opposition scorebook are also captured.
- Collect and submit to the Committee all match day monies (match fees and tea monies).
- Provided accurate match reports.
Vice-Captain: HARPREET SINGH
- Vice Captain of Caribbean Cricket Club.
- Hails from India.
- Member for over 5 Years.
- He Plays for SCCA and is a Member of a Minor League Club.
- This Youngman is the future of the Caribbean Cricket Club.
- Provide leadership and assistance to the Captain in both on and off field matters.
- Provide appropriate advice to the Captain on game day tactics.
Players: ALL CRICKETERS
- Confirm your match availability with the CCC Captain, Manager, and Selector.
- Be responsible for following standards and expectations of the club and Captain.
- Have fun, enjoy your cricket, and have a desire to better yourself and your team.
- Participate and assist in organized club social activities.
- Know the ground and time you are to be at for games.
- Make yourself available to help Club tasks as required.
Technical Director/Coach
- To organize, inspire and boost the morale of the Players
- Ensure the Players are encouraged to train and develop their Skills.
- Provide the Leadership to the Captain for Strategic Management and Development.
- Identify the Strengths and weaknesses in the Team and build on the Team Strengths.
- Work in collaboration with the Captain, Manager and Selector to ensure the Club have the Best Possible Team on the Field of Play.
- Be present with the Team and Observe Performance and provide Mentorship and support to the Team.
PR/Media/Communications Officer: LEWIN HARRISON MBA
- Board Member/PR/Media for over 15 Years.
- Earned his Masters’s Degree in Business Administration.
- Lewin is a Businessman/Real Estate/Broker.
- Very dedicated to the cause of human development.
- Raise the profile of the Club with the local community, through various channels.
- Create interesting articles and match reports for the Club website and other media.
- Maximize usage of social media to promote the Club
- Consult with other Club members to create events to engage the local community.
Website Administrator: DR SANDRA MINOTT PHD/SINITH MARKLANDE MBA
- Update and improve the Club’s website by consulting with the necessary personnel from within the Club.
- Updates appraise Club news, fixtures, results, and match reports.
- Manage member registration on the website.
- Be creative in identifying potential areas of improvement to the website.
- Address any questions/issues with the usage of the website.
Director to Southern California Cricket Association- RAY DEE
- Ray is a Past President/Current Board Member and has been an enthusiastic and instrumental leader in the progressive and forward development of the club for over 15 Years.
- Represent Caribbean Cricket Club of Los Angeles on all Matters at the Southern California Cricket Association Meetings.
- Report to the Board of Directors and Liaison with the Executives and Members of the Club on matters regarding SCCA.
Disciplinary /Ethics Committee Chair: LEWIN HARRISON
- Ensure Rules and Regulations are followed
- Monitor all Indiscipline and address all issues before they are escalated.
- Bring to attention of President all Disciplinary Matters.
- Escalate all Disciplinary Matters to Committee if same cannot be managed amicably.
Professional Advisory Committee—DENIS STUART, ANDRE DAWSON, DR LAXLEY STEPHENSON.
- Provide Professional Advice to the President regarding Leadership, Professional Development and Financial development of the Club.
FUNDRAISING Committee Chair: CAROL WILLIAMS/MADAM USHA SAHADEVA -BROOKS.
- Responsible to Chair and Monitor all Fundraising Activities of the Club under the Leadership of the President/CEO.
Rodney Cutting
- Rodney hails from Barbados and is the Proud Father of Fidel Edwards a West Indies/Barbados now Caribbean Cricket Club Cricketer.
- Rodney is our National Coach/Technical Director for over 15 Years.
- He is also the Coach of the Southern California Cricket Team.
- A very dedicated Caribbean Cricket Club Member.
